1st take at an Immerseus guide

So the guild got started a bit late in SoO, and we only really raid 2 days a week. Both Immerseus and the Fallen Protectors are interesting fights. Having cleared both of these encounters on both 10 man Normal and Flex, I can finally see a few hints for these fights. More after the jump break below.

Immerseus:

Spread out around the room with two tanks sharing the large piece of "pie" at the back, healers are spaced to cover the room. Everyone DPS's the boss while trying not to stand in the poo (usual raiding 101 stuff). Tank swaps after Corrosive Breath. CB doesn't do a terrible amount of damage, but leaves a debuff that makes you take an additional 25% damage from all sources for the next 15 seconds. Once Immersues's health drops to zero, he bursts into two types of adds. Blue adds need to be healed, black adds need to be dpsed down.

Brewmaster specific:
I like to set up Transcendence on my side of the tanking platform. In 10m I find myself flexing over to other sections to help with adds, and having it there for a emergency return is handy.
Talent wise, take RJS over Xuen to help with multiple adds. Using RJS to help with every add phase (when you need to burn something down) is probably a better use of damage than 45 seconds on the big guy from popping tiger. I find Charging Ox Wave to be very useful for snaring adds at range. Ranged snares for melee make me want kiss someone on the face...seriously.

I also spec into Chi Burst for this. I can solo a blue add by hitting with CB and dropping a few spheres in front of a mob.

After you've done the add phase once, you've seen the whole fight. There is a burst of damage once adds that did not get healed or killed get to the pool in the center, but I never found it was significant enough damage to blow a cooldown for. Your milage may vary based on how quickly you group handles the adds though.

Remember, keep fun on Cooldown!
